Connect it, together
Open the Connect screen
/screens/onboarding, or the first item in the navigation. It shows which steps are done and which are outstanding.
Enter your shop domain
The {shop} in {shop}.myshopify.com. A custom domain works too.
Grant the read scopes
Exactly read_orders and read_products. The store then appears on the Connect screen.
The token is encrypted at rest, scoped to your account alone and never logged. If it ever appears in a payload, the logging pipeline scrubs it.
What happens next
Nothing, until you say so. A connected store is readable and the agent runs at stage 0: it reads tickets, looks up orders and drafts replies, and posts nothing. That is the whole first week.
